Riker Danzig is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael P. O’Mullan as Managing Partner, effective January 1, 2024. Although a new role for Mike, this appointment reflects a natural progression of his leadership responsibilities in the prominent law firm that dates back to 1882, boasting many distinguished government and legal giants throughout its history.
Mike brings with him an impressive track record as a litigator handling complex business disputes. As a partner at the Firm for nearly 20 years, Mike has already been deeply involved in shaping Riker Danzig’s growth and direction, serving significant roles on the Firm’s Management and Strategic Planning Committees. His promotion signifies not only an acknowledgement of his exceptional leadership qualities but also of the Firm’s confidence in his ability to drive the Firm toward continued success.
The Co-Chairs of the Firm’s Executive Committee, Brian E. O’Donnell and Kelly S. Crawford, expressed their heartfelt congratulations and staunch support for Mike and his leadership of the Firm’s next generation. “We are confident that Mike will carry forward the prestigious legacy of our Firm. His keen vision, solid dedication, and proven leadership make him the ideal choice for the role of Managing Partner,” said Brian. Kelly added, “Mike understands not only law firm dynamics, but the pressures and challenges faced by in-house counsel. Current co-managing partners Lance J. Kalik and Michael R. O’Donnell will remain in their roles as active members of the Firm’s Executive Committee, and will continue their busy practices in the Firm’s well-regarded Insurance and Litigation Groups, respectively.
