Riker Danzig LLP is pleased to announce that Megan Kilzy, CFE, CAMS has joined the Firm as Counsel in its Commercial Litigation Group and White Collar Criminal Defense and Investigations Group.
Megan is an experienced trial lawyer and has developed extensive experience in financial investigations and complex litigation. As a licensed Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, she has demonstrated her proficiency in identifying and preventing fraudulent activity, designing and assessing compliance programs and managing high-profile investigations across various sectors. She has built a formidable reputation handling the most demanding cases, including internal and government investigations, business intelligence matters, and complex financial crimes.
Formerly an Assistant Prosecutor in Bergen County, including serving as Chief of Financial Crimes, Megan brings over a decade of experience prosecuting complex cases ranging from homicides, crimes against children, and cyber investigations, to large-scale financial crimes involving corporate fraud, Ponzi schemes, and corporate clients, for which she conducted thorough analyses of contracts, financial statements, and other documentation critical to uncovering fraudulent activities. In addition, Megan was also Managing Director in the Emerging Issues & Technology Division of Guidepost Solutions, a global investigations, compliance and risk management consulting firm.

Megan earned her J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she earned recognition for academic excellence. She received her B.A. from Wellesley College.
