Riker Danzig was honored by the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey (“DNJ”) for our “significant contributions” to the ReNew Reentry Court Program. At the 10th Anniversary celebration of the DNJ Reentry Court Program and its most recent graduation ceremony, held on November 16, 2023, corporate and tax partner Jason D. Navarino and corporate and tax counsel Hannah J. Greendyk were specifically recognized for their work to incorporate and apply for 501(c)(3) status for the Program, helping it gain meaningful financial support and better assist former federal prisoners upon reentering society. The ReNew Program is a collaboration between the DNJ, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Federal Public Defender’s Office and the Federal Probation Office. The Renew Program’s goal is to reduce recidivism, improve public safety, and save money by helping the participants with reentry obstacles, such as securing housing, obtaining identification, and gaining employment.
