The Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey presented Riker Danzig with the “Law Firm of the Year” award at its 43rd Annual Scholarship Gala & Awards Dinner on June 8, 2024. Riker Danzig is proud to be recognized for our commitment to diversity, particularly when it comes to recruitment efforts, hiring, and professional development, as well as the assignment of pro bono work. The Firm encourages all of our attorneys to become active in their communities, whether it be via participation in organizations such as the HBA and other affinity bar organizations and charity organizations, or pro bono legal services.
Managing Partner Michael P. O’Mullan accepted the award on the Firm’s behalf. Mike thanked the HBA for the prestigious honor and commended Riker Danzig partner Jorge A. Sanchez, for his dedication to the Hispanic Bar, for which he is a Trustee. Jorge is also the co-chair of Riker’s Diversity Committee, along with Judge Travis L. Francis, former Assignment Judge in Middlesex County; together they lead a number of ongoing DEI initiatives for the Firm. Janett Smyth is the HBA-NJ Press Secretary.
