Brian M. Smith is an Associate in Riker Danzig’s Insurance and Reinsurance Group.
Brian received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2022. While at Seton Hall, Brian was a member of the Ronald J. Riccio and Eugene Gressman Moot Courts, as well as an Associate Editor of the Seton Hall Law Legislative Journal. Brian received the “2022 Outstanding Law Student Pro Bono Award” for his work with Partners, which provides counseling and legal representation to domestic violence victims. Brian received his B.S. in Business and Technology from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2010.
During law school, Brian interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey, and also served as a Legal Intern to the Honorable Frank J. DeAugelis, Superior Court, Family Division.
Following law school, Brian served as a Law Clerk to both the Honorable Rachelle L. Harz, Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division and Multicounty Litigation, and the Honorable Nicholas Ostuni, Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division.
