Opeyemi D. Akinde is an Associate in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group.
Opeyemi is experienced in representing corporate clients in a variety of commercial litigation matters with an emphasis on breaches in contract and shareholder disputes. She is well-versed in the areas of employment law, intellectual property, and community associations.
Opeyemi received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 2020. While in law school, she served as Co-President of the Labor and Employment Law Society, Secretary of the Moot Court Board, and was a member of the National Trial Team. Upon graduation, Opeyemi was awarded the Myron Harkavy Prize for Most Promise as a Trial Lawyer. She received a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University School of Arts and Sciences in 2017.
Following law school, Opeyemi served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Benjamin C. Telsey, A.J.S.C., Assignment Judge in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
