Riker Danzig is pleased to announce that it has elected three new partners and appointed one new counsel, effective January 1, 2023. Jeffrey A. Beer Jr., Rudy S. Randazzo and Jorge A. Sanchez have been elected partner and Hannah J. Greendyk has been promoted to counsel.
Riker Danzig’s newly-elected partners are:
Jeffrey A. Beer Jr. is a Partner in the Firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance Group and Class Action Group. He represents clients in a variety of insurance-related areas, including insurance coverage litigation, as well as class actions and other complex commercial litigation. He is an experienced litigator, appearing regularly before both trial and appellate courts. Beer serves on the Firm’s Hiring Committee. Jeff received his law degree, cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law in 2014, where he served as a member of the Fordham University Urban Law Journal, Fordham Dispute Resolution Society, and Fordham Moot Court International Law Team, for which he was a Jessup Competition Regional Best Advocate. He graduated in 2010 with a B.A. in Communication from Rutgers University.
Rudy S. Randazzo is a Partner in the Firm’s Governmental Affairs Group. Rudy represents private, public and quasi-public clients in complex government-related litigation. He also has significant experience in construction litigation, eminent domain, land use litigation and general real estate litigation. Rudy obtained his undergraduate degree in Archeology from Rutgers University in 2005. He earned his law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 2008, where he served on the Environmental Law Review.
Jorge A. Sanchez is a Partner in Riker Danzig’s Commercial Litigation Group. His practice includes a variety of commercial litigation cases, with an emphasis on banking litigation and title insurance claims. He regularly handles title disputes, including claims and litigations involving mortgage fraud, forgery, mortgage priority disputes, boundary line disputes, and quiet title and ejectment claims, lender liability claims, and commercial foreclosures. Jorge serves as a Trustee of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, and is a member of the Firm’s Diversity Committee. He received his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law, cum laude, in 2010. He was the Senior Notes Editor and Associate Editor of the Rutgers Law Record and a member of the Order of the Coif. Jorge received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Rutgers University in 2005.
Appointed to Counsel is:
Hannah J. Greendyk is Counsel in the Firm’s Corporate, Tax, and Trusts & Estates Departments, with extensive experience in corporate and tax counseling, particularly with respect to domestic and cross border mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. She is well-versed in the negotiation of stock and asset purchase agreements and commercial agreements, always with an eye toward the most tax-efficient structure. She also regularly counsels clients regarding entity formation and corporate governance. Hannah has a particular emphasis in the nonprofit space, where she counsels tax-exempt organizations regarding their unique tax and corporate concerns. She received her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, cum laude, in 2016, and her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 2020. She graduated summa cum laude in 2013 with a B.A. in Political Science from Seton Hall University.
