James V. Mazewski is an Associate in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group.
James is well-versed in all aspects of civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels, with a primary focus on the representation of business entities in a wide range of matters including commercial litigation, franchise and shareholder disputes, fraud claims, employment and termination disagreements, restrictive covenant breaches and general liability incidents. He has experience in assisting commercial banks in collecting upon defaulted loan obligations, exposing fraudulent borrower reporting, and defending Equal Credit Opportunity Act allegations.
James received his J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers Law School in 2016. While at Rutgers, he was a member of the Rutgers Law Review, the Rutgers Moot Court and the Rutgers Legal Writing Clinic. He received an M.S., magna cum laude, in 2012 and a B.S., cum laude, in 2010 from Montclair State University.
Following law school, James served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Amy O’Connor, J.A.D., New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division.
