Michael S. Spinello

Michael S. Spinello is an Associate in the Firm’s Environmental Law Group.

Prior to joining the Firm, Michael was a Deputy Attorney General for the Division of Law, Environmental Enforcement and Environmental Justice Section, where he guided negotiations in a variety of environmental matters concerning Natural Resource Damages, ISRA, the Solid Waste Management Act, the Spill Act, the Water Pollution Control Act, site remediation and Spill Fund liens.

Michael received his J.D. degree from Rutgers Law School in 2018, where he was included on the Dean’s List, and was a 2018 Fellow in the Eagleton Institute of Politics program. Michael received his undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in 2009, where he was also included on the Dean’s List.

Following law school, Michael served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Jodi Lee Alper, P.J. Ch., Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division.
