Bio
Thomas J. Persico is an Associate in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group.
Thomas’ legal experience includes the full spectrum of legal, regulatory, and ethical advice while serving as a Judge Advocate in the Marine Corps. Thomas most recently served as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate of Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, where he provided counsel on the interpretation of laws, policies, and contract provisions and advice regarding the handling and resolution of criminal litigation and confidential internal and external investigations. He also worked as a Defense Counsel, representing Marines and sailors in courts-martial and other proceedings.
Thomas graduated with an ScM in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from Brown University in 2023. He received his J.D. and two advanced certificates in environmental law and international law from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2018. Thomas received his B.A. from Rutgers University in May 2015.
Prior to joining Riker Danzig, Thomas rose to the rank of Captain while fulfilling roles as Deputy Staff Judge Advocate and Defense Counsel aboard Camp Lejeune in the United States Marine Corps.
